The Bupa Cromwell Hospital Paediatric Centre provides exceptional care for babies and children aged up to 16 years of age. It offers advanced clinical facilities for complex medical and surgical procedures and has its own private paediatric intensive care unit.

Exceptional paediatric care from a multi-disciplinary team

Bupa Cromwell Hospital Paediatric Centre offers a full range of care, all under one roof. Children can be seen by a general paediatrician or by one of the specialist consultants. The clinical specialists in the diagnostic centre provide expert therapy and dietetics support and are highly experienced in working with children.

Diagnostic tests, carried out on-site using state-of-the-art facilities include MRI scans, CT scans, X-rays, angiography and nuclear medicine.

Therapies are offered for a wide range of needs and conditions including neurological, respiratory, musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and developmental issues.

Dedicated children’s facilities

The secure, family-friendly children’s facilities include the Starfish Ward with 14 en-suite rooms, a 4 bed day-case area and a playroom. The child-dedicated Rainbow Theatre is directly attached to the ward - children can walk straight there with their parents. There are four beds in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. The children’s out-patient department provides a welcoming space for families with comfortable seating for parents and a play area for children.

The activity and play centre provides activities for both children and adolescents, with a great range of books, music, games and toys including a Play Station and Xbox.

Bupa Cromwell Hospital Hotel Services know how important it is for children to have food they enjoy and which will help them get better, and sometimes something familiar and comforting is what they want – and need.  They’ve introduced ‘wish for a dish’ to provide special meals and treats, as a supplement to their extensive children's menu.

Luxury suites

The luxurious King and Queen Suites are located on the Penthouse level with exclusive access and offer spacious accommodation.

Access is by a dedicated private entrance so your car can be driven directly into the exclusive secure private car park.  On entering the private entrance the dedicated penthouse lift is just a few steps away.

The suites benefit from luxury carpeting; parquet flooring, air-conditioning; subtle lighting; together with one-way security glass windows, and custom-made security doors.  There is a full-service kitchen, where if required special meals can be prepared to order, and supplies brought in if necessary from nearby stores such as Harrods Food Hall, Wholefoods and specialist stores, as well as some of the world’s finest restaurants.

There is a nurses station serving both suites which is staffed by dedicated team on-call twenty four hours a day.

King Suite

King and Queen Rooms

We have a number of high quality spacious rooms available adjoining both the King and Queen Suites, and which are ideal for family members, companions and assistants.  Two of these rooms can be combined to provide a mini-suite of bedroom, and adjoining sitting room with two bathrooms.

Bupa Cromwell Hospital is located in Kensington just one and a half miles along the road from Knightsbridge with its many attractions including Harrods department store and a wide range of international designer and other shops, hairdressers and salons.

The famous Kensington Gardens is just a mile away and features the Peter Pan Garden which people of all ages enjoy, together with the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain.
