What is it for?

What actually happens?

Following the refraction the optometrist will focus your non-dominant eye for near vision while leaving your dominant eye focused for distance. He/She will then measure your binocular vision at distance and at close proximity to determine if you are likely to be suitable for a blended vision correction.

How does it feel?

You feel nothing.

What does it do?

This test provides the surgeon with your tolerance for blended vision, which will enable him to design a customised treatment plan that will correct both your distance and near vision at the same time.

How does it benefit you?
