Queens Clinic: Vaginal cosmetic surgery in Harley Street, London

The Team - Queensway Gynecology Clinic

Sometimes how a woman “perceives” how she looks in the vaginal region has devastating effects on her life. It can threaten her self-esteem, reduce her sexual desire and excitement, ruin her love life, or cause vaginal discomfort.

That’s why many women are now seeking cosmetic vaginal surgery to recreate sexual excitement, restore self-esteem, and rejuvenate their love lives. Vaginal reconstruction is in the form of vaginoplasty (vaginal rejuvenation and vaginal tightening) and labia surgery is in the form of labiaplasty (labia reduction and beautification). Hymenoplasty (reconstruction of the hymen) is also available, which returns the ruptured hymen to a pre-sexual state. Labiaplasty and vaginoplasty can be performed at the same time or in combination with other common plastic and cosmetic procedures such as rhinoplasty, breast augmentation or reduction, abdominoplasty, or liposculpturing.

Vaginal cosmetic surgery at Queens Clinic

Vaginal plastic surgery procedures are performed by Queens Clinic's expert surgeons, who are sympathetic to women’s needs and understand what a delicate subject cosmetic vaginal surgery can be. It is their experience, knowledge, and sensitivity that make them the perfect surgeons to perform your vaginal cosmetic surgery, from vaginoplasty,(vaginal rejuvenation, and vaginal reconstruction) to labiaplasty (labia reduction and labia beautification) or both together.

Vaginoplasty

Vaginoplasty involves the creation or reshaping of the vagina. Vaginoplasty is sometimes performed to revise vaginal anomalies and congenital conditions such as absence of a vagina at birth, as well as to repair the area following disease or injury.

As with other procedures, vaginoplasty may be undertaken for functional reasons, aesthetic reasons, or a combination of the two. Vaginoplasty is currently required by law in order for women in our community to change the designation of their sex on many government documents.

Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty (sometimes spelled labioplasty) involves the creation or reshaping of the labia (lips). Labiaplasty is sometimes performed to revise anomalies and congenital conditions such as large inner labia, as well as to repair the area following disease or injury, especially after childbirth.

As with other procedures, labiaplasty may be undertaken for functional reasons, aesthetic reasons, or a combination of the two.

In the case of transsexual women, labiaplasty is frequently the second part of a two-stage vaginoplasty, where labia and a clitoral hood are created. This is often performed a few months after the first part of the procedure. In some cases, labiaplasty is an elective procedure to improve appearance after a one-stage vaginoplasty.

Staff 1 - Queensway Gynecology Clinic

Labiaplasty is an outpatient procedure usually performed under local anaesthesia. After surgery, women may experience some mild discomfort and swelling, which usually disappears completely after 1-2 weeks.

Hymenoplasty

Using surgical techniques, the hymen can be repaired and tightened to a more intact state. Most surgeons construct or restore hymens mostly for cultural reasons. The hymen is considered the proof that the woman is still a virgin, and is a sign of purity. In some cultures/religions, a man will only look for a virgin to marry. This can be very important for some.
