Callum Clark is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in disorders of the foot, ankle and knee. His practice includes arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery of the ankle and knee, sports injury management, joint replacement and fusion, foot and ankle deformity correction and bunion surgery.
Callum Clark was born and educated in Bristol, UK and studied medicine at Cambridge University. He trained in Orthopaedics in London, including Charing Cross Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, where he developed an interest in foot and ankle surgery.
In 2003 he was awarded a fellowship year in foot and ankle surgery and sports injuries in Melbourne, Australia. He returned to the UK as a locum consultant at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and in 2004 he was appointed as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals.
He specialises in disorders of the foot, ankle and knee. He has a busy NHS practice, which includes a large trauma workload (fractures and joint injuries). In the private sector he is a founder member of the Windsor Foot and Ankle Clinic.
He has an active interest in
research, and his special interests are arthroscopic techniques, ankle problems, flatfoot disorder, plantar plate reconstruction and sports injuries. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery Society (
BOFAS), the British Association for Surgery of the Knee (
BASK), the British Association of Sports and Exercise Medicine (
BASEM) and the British Medical Association (
BMA).
