Dr Anton Bungay is a Consultant Gastroenterologist in London with a practice based in Harley Street Wimbledon and Kingston Upon Thames. He treats conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, bowel cancer and Coeliac disease.

Dr Anton Bungay (MA MB BChir MRCP PhD) received his degree in medicine from Trinity College, University of Cambridge in 1997. He was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2000 and earned a PhD from University College London in 2008, having completed a period of scientific research at the Royal Free Hospital.
His specialist training in gastroenterology and general medicine was at a variety of hospitals in North London and on completion of this he went abroad for a year to work as a Clinical Fellow in Inflammatory Bowel Disease at the University of Toronto based at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
He has written a number of scientific papers and these have been published in - The Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, The Journal of Crohn’s and Colitis, Artificial Organs, and European Radiology. His research has been presented at national and international meetings.
