Paul Kirkland is a Consultant ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) and Thyroid Surgeon with private practices in Kent and Sussex at the Spire Tunbridge Wells and Spire Sussex Hospitals. He specialises in endoscopic sinus surgery, nose surgery, paediatric ENT, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, and salivary gland surgery.

After qualifiying at St.Thomas' Hospital Medical School, London in 1989, Paul Kirkland MBBS, FRCS (Eng), FRCS (ORL-HNS), underwent his specialist ENT training in London. He was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck surgery, and is on the General Medical Council's specialist register (GMC Number 3335534).

Paul Kirkland undertook further specialist training in Head and Neck surgery at The Royal Marsden Hospital and Thyroid/Parathyroid surgery at The Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals. He was also awarded a fellowship by The European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and trained in two centres of excellence in Europe.

He is an ENT consultant at The East Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust and works at The Conquest and Eastbourne District General Hospitals.
