Established by Gavin Laidlaw B.D.S, the dental practice is located in Lymm, Cheshire. The practice provides dental treatment of a very high standard, meeting and exceeding industry guidelines for care, customer service, and hygiene. Gavin Laidlaw B.D.S. Manchester 1987
Gavin has been running his own practice since 1990, and has brought his experience and training to the Lymm practice. He has special interests in cosmetic makeovers and facial rejuvenation including Botox and Hydrafill lip and line treatments. Living in Lymm for over 25 years, Gavin is a well known figure in the local community and a keen sponsor of local sports organisations including football, rowing, golf and cricket.
Sophie Parker BDS
Sophie has special interests in restorative dentistry, 6 month smiles orthodontic treatment and children’s dental health. She is also fully trained in the use of Botulinum Toxin and Dermal fillers, and has a keen interest in facial rejuvenation.
Beatrice Luciola B.D.S., MSc, MOrth
Beatrice is the resident Orthodontist at the Practice who joined the team in 2007. Beatrice has a vast range of experience, working at Manchester University and S. Manchester University teaching and Stepping Hill and Wythenshawe Hospitals for over four years. Beatrice then entered a large NHS and Private Specialist Orthodontic practice for over three years. Beatrice now focuses entirely on her private clients and loves creating beautiful straight and healthy smiles. Beatrice also offers Invisalign, the invisible teeth straightening system.
Dr Richard Brookshaw BDS, M.Med.Sci (Oral Surgery) Dip Imp Dent RCS Ed
Richard performs all the implant surgery here at the practice. Richard is a Lymm resident and is both nationally and internationally respected as a lecturer and mentor in Implant Dentistry and CT scan guided surgery. Richard is also an honorary teaching fellow for the Manchester University MSc in dental implantology.In the last three years, Richard has successfully placed over 1500 implants.
Richard Tones BDS
Richard has worked in a variety of NHS and Private dental practices in Newcastle and Cheshire since qualifying to gain a wide range of experience in dentistry in a relatively short time. He continues to pursue post graduate training in dentistry to offer the highest possible professional standards to his patients.
Bob McLelland B.D.S., M.F.G.D.P., MDentSci (Restorative)
Following graduation in Scotland, Bob’s career spans across Hospital dentistry, the Royal Air Force and private dentistry before moving to Manchester in 2003.
Bob continues his own professional development taking courses around the world and is a member of multiple dental societies in America, Europe and the UK.
He has a special interest in advancing his extensive knowledge of TMJ, jaw joint disorders and occlusion. Bob has spoken nationally on the subjects of Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. Together with Dr Richard Brookshaw, Bob co-directs the Centre for Advanced Dental Education providing postgraduate courses for fellow dentists.
Marian Vallina BDS MSc
Marian is our latest team member at Dental Solutions and practices as an endodontist – the area concerned with treatment of the root canal. Marian graduated from Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2005. Since then she has won several awards for the quality of her clinical work and has worked in several private practices within the UK and in Spain.
We are delighted to have her within the team where she utilises the latest technologies and endodontic techniques available. Her calm manner and approachability is frequently commented by patients and team members. She prides herself on attention to detail and ensuring that root canal treatment is carried out in the most relaxed and comfortable manner.
