After your assessment, you will receive a personalised medical report, which is clear and easy to understand. This will provide a breakdown and explanation of each test performed so you know exactly what’s what. You’ll have quick and easy access to further tests or treatment should this be required.
Each assessment includes a consultation with a specialist health assessment nurse or doctor providing you with an opportunity to discuss any health concerns you may have. The health assessment questionnaire
You will be asked to complete in advance a full medical and lifestyle questionnaire, covering details of your family and medical history and your current lifestyle. These do have a significant impact on your risk factors for all sorts of illnesses and in combination with the other tests included in your health assessment allows us to properly assess your individual health and put your mind at ease.
The questionnaire will also be used during your health assessment. Your nurse will review your questionnaire to identify aspects of your lifestyle that may be putting you at risk of future health problems and work with you to give personal recommendations for reducing your risks.
Health assessment consultation
You will finally have a consultation with one of BMI Healthcare’s specially trained doctors (or health assessment nurse with the Essential) so you can discuss your risk factors and concerns in an unhurried way.
